Printed Seed Paper Invitations, Memorials and Announcements

Each 4" x 5-1/4" (folded size) card is 100% post-consumer recycled white paper, embedded with wildflower seeds, personalized with full color printing of your supplied artwork on one or both sides.
Includes white envelopes.
Printable area size is 4" x 5-1/4" and can include a bleed. If there is a bleed, please be sure to build it into your artwork 1/8" beyond edges.
It's very important not to exceed 25% total printed area when printing on seed paper. It is also recommended to include verbiage about planting the seed paper... here is a PDF file with some suggestions.
EPS (vector-based, Adobe Illustrator version 9.0) is the preferred file type. Convert all fonts to outline and embed any graphics before finalizing and sending us your file.

You can also select one of our exclusive illustrations or photographs for use on your invitation or memorial at no extra charge. Please indicate in your email what photo or illustration you would like to use. Select from the images below.

First, please email Steve at steve@earthlygoods.com with a PDF for us to review. We'll review your art and email you with approval to email the art or suggest changes if needed. FTP access is available if the file size is too large to email.
Place your order by choosing the quantity you'd like and checking out. When we receive your order and artwork, we will email you a PDF proof file for approval. Check it carefully before you approve it for printing.

PRINTING AND ORDER PLACEMENT SPECIFICATIONS
APPROVED ORDERS TAKE 10 BUSINESS DAYS TO COMPLETE AND SHIP.
Rush service and super-rush service are available for an additional fee and may require expedited shipping, which costs more than UPS Ground. Rush services are quoted on request. Rush orders ship in 5-7 business days. Super-rush orders ship in 2-4 business days.
Prices shown below are for full-color printing and DO NOT INCLUDE a $35 set-up fee per side printed. ($70 for 2-sided printing.)
Seed Mix:
Our paper is packed with seeds, a mix of annual and perennial wildflower seeds that grow across all regions. Custom mixes are also available including forget-me-not, petunia, zinnia, marigold, blue spruce, herbs, peppers, vegetables and many others. Custom runs incur additional cost.
Printing on seed paper:
There are limitations to what we can print on the seed paper. Less is more ... keep your ink coverage to a minimum. Let the seed paper be the hero. Use thin lined fonts wherever possible, maybe make text a percentage of black instead of black. Avoid large solids and make any solids as light as possible.
Samples are available upon request. Please provide a FedEx, UPS or credit card # for expedited samples.
Pre production samples are available for $50–$100.
